About the Event

Introduction

All HeadTeacher’s and School Principles need to have an understanding of their responsibilities to manage their Health & Safety systems.  One person in the school should have completed the 3-day Health and Safety Managing Safely course.  If you employ an external Health & Safety Adviser to assist with Health and Safety Matters, then this course would be suitable for you.  This would also be suitable for Head Teacher’s or Deputy Head Teacher’s to supplement the Level III training.  NB if in any doubt contact me for individual advice.

Course Content:

This programme looks at the responsibilities that a premise manager / head teacher has for ensuring health & safety in their school. Built around health & safety, the programme takes an in-depth look at the responsibilities of a premise manager and challenges delegates to think about the practicalities of managing their own school site. Responsibilities for all aspects of health & safety are covered. Assessment is completed through group tasks and discussions.
